Is it that date already?
Now, I’m not the romantic type, not at all, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the effect of romantic gestures undertaken all the time, every day, by those who are and who do wonderful things to show the person they love how much they feel.
Poetry, however, is something I enjoy. Can’t write it, but love to feel it, use those words for inspiration and [don’t tell anyone] to get myself out of the doo-doo when necessary. Poetry is good for that.
If you are a person who enjoys a good bit of a wander down that romantic path … you are, aren’t you? Have you seen Frank’s new book of poetry? No. 1 New Release in its Category — of course!
It’s available today, for [what do they call this day? Oh, yes –] Valentine’s Day.
For you, on Valentine’s Day.
Agreed. So much more to poetry than romance.

I’m not generally a poetry person, but Frank’s poetry moves me because it’s so genuine. I’m thrilled he’s doing so well. He deserves it.

It touches us with familiar places, things, experiences.

Yes. The familiar allows us to feel, for a little while, the truth of the story.

Yes, it’s best to show love all year round I think. A lot of people seem to feel that way these days. And I think most of us have a romantic side, even if we often hide it. Ha. Great post!
