Someone said it was National Black Cat Day, but as I’m Australian, I’m going to call it I’national Black Cat Day (as in International). So here are my pics of my favourite black cat. His name was Boof (aka Barbari Thom Thumper).
Unwriting week it’s been. Shoulder surgery last week (I think), next shoulder next week). More unwriting. In the meantime, there’s always a black cat moment to indulge in.

Boof was indeed adorable. I didn’t know it was Black Cat Day. We have 4 of them.

Black cats are cool. I appreciate them every day.

Love the name. It sounds like a noise a ghost dog would make.

He was as loud as a dog when he thundered through the house chasing the real dog. I’m sure he wanted to know how to bark.

Boof, so Aussie, I had a mate called Boof. Lol They dance to their own beat, amazing creatures.

The pics made me smile, Cage. Except for the shoulder surgery. Here’s to a quick recovery.

Thank you — he was a beautiful — and arrogant — cat.
I’m hoping to come up with some interesting story ideas while recovering.

Are you OK? What’s happening with your shoulder(s)?

Had the second surgery yesterday. Resting for a few days now. Watching the Melbourne Cup. Funny without a crowd.

Hope you have a quick and smooth recovery. Not watching the Cup here, should be doing some work but I can’t muster the interest today, so we’re watching a Sean Connery 007 movie instead ☺️

Thanks. I’m not holding my breath for a miracle, but to stop it popping out every few days would be a help.
