Yep, the train anthology is out and about.
And the editor has done a post on why readers love scary stories – read on! There’s also a review on each story in the collection, so if you want a quick peek, pop on over.

Unfortunately, I don’t take well to scary stories. My life is scary enough. I bought one anthology years ago because I loved the cover graphics – tried one story (against my better instincts), shut down quickly, and will never go back.
But there are heaps of readers for the genre, and they should be ready to board.

Congratulations! I’m not into either horror or short stories but the cover looks great, and I wish you all the very best.
Any novels in the offing?

No novels this year – working on a few shorts and novellas for later in the year. And a secret mask project.

A secret ‘mask’ project? You’re making masks? As in the kind you wear on your face???

A metaphorical mask – a new face, perhaps, or a new front … something like that.

There are some great stories in the anthology. Haven’t picked a favourite yet, but I’ll work on it.
